The '24/25 season was a truly a Northwest classic, the cornice on the west side of the cirque was tremendously huge, hanging over the bowl until ski patrol performed their control work. The thing continued to grow into April revealing the layers of weather like tree rings that record growth and conditions of abundance or drought. Maneuvering beneath this behemoth to snap my reference photo is always a cautious project but last season the monster was particularly intimidating.
